I'm trying to hack my switch using this guide: https://switch.homebrew.guide I'm failing at the very first step, though. I cannot get the switch to boot into RCM. I've tried a jig, I've tried manipulating where the pins of the jig are, I've used a multimeter to check that the jig does have connectivity between the pins, and I've tried the tin foil method from here: https://www.youtube.com ...Mar 16, 2019 ... ... into RCM mode before I get ... boot into RCM mode that doesn't seem to be working either though.

There's a spelling mistake at the Jig section, 'below' is misspelled to 'bellow'. Other than that, seems like a great guide for those looking to start hacking their switch. I still believe that directly bridging the pads is a bad idea. Just turning on the switch to atmosphere emummc cfw directly is so nice, or a vol - and power on to boot into hekate for other launch options (like stock or sxos) is how I have mine. Still piecing the puzzle together here. So after I use Hekate to create an emunand, how do you use the fusee payload to boot into the emunand? I would prefer (per mikefor20's recommendation) to use fusee as its paired with Atmosphere but since 1.0, they changed some things. (There are no more bins in the atmos folder other than reboot_payload.bin)you don't need to turn off autorcm to boot into stock, you can do it from hekate, just go to reboot then select OFW, what you can do is either turn off autoboot if you dont want to hold -vol to go into hekate, and just manually launch sysnand or emunand, or auto boot emunand then hold -vol to boot into hekate to manually reboot into stock.
